On Sunday, January 25, 2026, the athletics club Spark will organize the Kraanvogelloop for the fourth time, covering 10 miles (16.1 km). The course is certified by the Athletics Union and starts and finishes at the Spark athletics track in Spijkenisse. The start time is at 10:00 AM, and there is a time limit of 2 hours. For an entry fee of €16.00, participants will enjoy a well-organized run through a beautiful part of Spijkenisse, along the bridge 'De Kraanvogel', the Oude Maas, and the Wolvenpolder.
